I really got caught up in this book. It was so interesting to learn about the Chinese culture. The author really does a good job getting you wrapped up in the charactors stories. I loved how you can see the stories from two different angles (Snow flowers and Lillys).

I loved this book but the story is sad so its a hard book to rate. If I were rating it on how well written it was Then I would give it five stars, but the sad story line makes me want to give it four stars.
