This is the second time I have read this book, although I didn't remember anything from the first time I read it other than I liked it.

An amazing, thought provoking, and inspiring true story of a strong woman who moves to Alaska in the 20's to be a teacher and her conflicts with racism and learning to deal with the freezing weather.
